A red saree, a white horse, and the tall grass saved for last.
They could only give us one day, so we planned it around the sun. The saree came first, in the shade of the village courtyard. The white dress and the very patient horse took the middle of the afternoon. We kept the tall grass for the end, and for twenty minutes before the sun went down, everyone stopped talking and let them walk.
